Spalletti rubbishes Lyon link
Roma boss Luciano Spalletti has rubbished suggestions that he is looking for a move elsewhere, and has insisted that he is happy at Roma. Lyon were reportedly linked with a move for the Italian boss.
There have been rumours from France that coach Alain Perrin could be set to leave Lyon, and Spalletti has emerged as a hot favorite for the role.
“I am very happy at Roma,” Spalletti told L’Equipe.
“I can do a very, very good job her and I have everything I want. Everybody has his place and everyone trusts everyone else.
“A few weeks before that game, I received a Christmas message from Lyon. In the card it said: success is for those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.
“Lyon sent this to the Coach of the team they were playing next in the Champions League. That’s a demonstration of the mentality of their directors.”
