Arsenal chase Raul Albiol

According to the Independent, Arsenal are considering a summer move for Valencia defender Raul Albiol. The Spanish defender is valued at around £10 million by his club.

Many clubs in the Premiership have been considering a move for Albiol, and Chelsea considered a swoop for the player last season.

Albiol has now played for the Spanish international side and is unlikely to be a part of the Spain Euro 2008 squad.

The 22 year old can play in defence or in midfield.
