Barcelona want Kaka
FC Barcelona are set to undergo a major revamp in the summer and are looking forward to making same big name signings. And one of the new players supposedly interesting the Blaugrana is the AC Milan midfielder Kaka.
According to the Catalan sports daily Sports.es Barcelona are indeed preparing a massive bid to lure the Brazilian international midfielder from the San Siro to the Camp Nou this summer. The paper states that the sell-out of Barcelona’s two big stars Ronaldinho and Zianluca Zambrotta, with the added possibility of Deco leaving the club too, would help garner the immense sum of money required to convince Milan to give up their biggest asset.
Kaka is renowned as one of the best players in the word, if not the best, and has been a Milan player since 2003. He is the reigning FIFA world Player of the Year and the Ballon d’Or and has been the one bright spot in Milan’s otherwise disaster blighted season.
Barca’s archrivals Real Madrid are consistently on the lookout to sign Kaka but they have failed for the last two years. Now Sport claims that Barca are trying their might to convince the player to leave the San Siro.
Next season Milan might as well have to do with UEFA Cup football. They are currently fifth in the Italian Serie A with just one more round of matches remaining. That is expected to take the sheen off Milan and it is acclaimed that Barca would try ad exploit this particular area when they do talk to Milan about Kaka.
Ac Milan on the other hand wouldn’t be bothered to selling their best asset. They are not lacking in cash and are themselves set to make loads of changes in their squad to make it more competitive next season. Kaka himself has always insisted that he is happy playing for Milan and that he wants to retire at the club.
