Boca Juniors expect Man Utd to move for wonderkid

Boca Juniors expect Manchester United to make a formal bid to sign teenage Aaron Anselmino, according to El Crack Deportivo.

The 18-year-old centre-back has made only five first-team appearances, but he has already been described as the future Lisandro Martinez.

United have been keeping a close watch on his progress and it is now reported that Boca are expecting a transfer proposal from the Red Devils.

Anselmino currently has a release clause worth €21m in his deal and Boca are reluctant to accept anything less for the talented wonderkid.

United are in no position to spend this winter due to Financial Fair Play issues, but they could make an approach during the summer.

The Argentine is a strong ball-playing defender who likes to engage in tackles and duels. He is also good in terms of ball recoveries.

He is far from a complete player at the moment, but United could see him as a future star with his huge talent and potential at 18.
