Manchester United Sign Ramsey

Reigning Premiership champions Manchester United have signed the highly rated Cardiff City Aaron Ramsey.

The club has announced on its official website that they have agreed personal terms with the player who shall now undergo a medical at Old Trafford.

Ramsey is still only 17 years of age but was instrumental in Cardiff City's FA Cup final run last season and was being hunted by a number of top Premier League clubs.

But it is Manchester United who has finally landed the player. A statement on the club's website read:

"Manchester United is delighted to announce it has agreed terms with Cardiff City for the transfer of Aaron Ramsey subject to terms being agreed and the player passing a medical."

It is being held that Man United shall loan back the player to Cardiff for the 2008-2009 season to give the player more playing time.
