Emana has Newcastle option
Toulouse have warned Real Betis that their offer for Cameroon international midfielder Achille Emana must significantly improve; or they look set to miss out on his coveted signature. It is understood that Newcastle could attempt to hijack Emana's move away from Ligue 1.
“Emana will remain in Toulouse unless the offer improves,” said Olivier Ladran, the Toulouse club president.
It is understood that Toulouse are looking for around £4 million to allow the player to leave for a La Liga side.
Both West Ham and Sunderland are also believed to be monitoring the situation closely.
