Atletico complete dual signing
Atletico Madrid have completed the double signing of Paulo Assuncao and Florent Sinama-Pongolle to bolster their squad for next season's La Liga and UEFA Champions League assault.
Assuncao's signing was confirmed on Atleti's official website yesterday. It was said that the former FC Porto player has arrived on a free transfer to the third biggest club in Spain after buying out the remainder of his two years at Porto.
The former Liverpool striker Florent Sinama-Pongolle was signed from Recreativo de Huelva on a four year contract.
Atletico Madrid shall feature in the UEFA Champions League next season after finishing fourth in La Liga last season.
