Man United Make Berbatov Bid
It has been reported in the British press that Premiership champions Manchester United have made a bid for the Tottenham Hotspur striker Dimitar Berbatov.
The Bulgarian international centre forward is one of the best strikers in the Premiership and last season's UEFA Champions League winners have been chasing him since last summer.
Berbatov had already expressed his intention to play for a club that "matches his ambition" and now it is becoming more difficult for Spurs to hold onto their player.
And now Berbatov's agent has confessed that Man United have indeed made an official approach for the player.
"I know for certain Manchester United have shown interest in signing Dimitar Berbatov," Danchev told Darik radio. "But I'm not entitled to make any more comments."
Dimitar Berbatov though has been summoned to the pre-season training sessions by Spurs manager Juan Ramos.
