Sunderland to sign Guy Demel

Sunderland are closing to agreeing a move for Hamburg defender Guy Demel. The former Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund man is set to sign for the Black Cats for £2 million.

Demel had fallen out of favour at Hamburg, and has always hinted that he would be willing to return to the Premiership.

Demel has reportedly already agreed terms with Sunderland.
