Profile: I’ve always been a “mild football obsessive”, as I like to phrase it, and decided that it was time for me to get my thoughts written out rather than limiting myself to talking about football at work.
Although I’ve never played to any high level, I’m regularly involved in recreational football, playing in various six a side leagues across London, and formerly involved with 11 a side teams through my University and local town before moving to the capital.
I’ve grown up as a Liverpool fan, and adopted Olympique de Marseille as my French team, having lived in the nearby town of Aix-en-Provence for the best part of a year in 2014/15. I really enjoy following Ligue 1 and have focused in on the league since my time in France.
