River Plate could be set for a new boss in January, with Diego Simeone rumoured to be interested in taking over from Daniel Passarella. Argentinian newspaper "La Nation" has picked up on these rumours and reports Passarella is wanted in Italy.
According to La Nation, December could be the month in which trainer and club could say cheerio. La Nation says also the name of the probable alternative of Passarella is Diego Pablo Simeone, who is at the moment the current Estudiantes' trainer.
