Arsenal enter Lukaku race

Arsenal enter Lukaku race

24 July 2011 - 07:00

Arsenal are the newest team to be linked with a move for starlet Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian striker has already been in discussions with his representatives about a move to the Premier League, with Chelsea the only club to make an official offer so far.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • Arsenal are the newest side to have an interest in the Anderlecht frontman, and Arsene Wenger is mulling over a £14.5m offer for the player.

However, Chelsea have already told Lukaku's representatives that they will do everything possible to bring the player to Stamford Bridge; so the Gunners have a long way to go before sealing a move for Lukaku.

The one reason why Arsenal may be able to win the race for Lukaku, is that the youngster is actually an Arsenal fan himself and Thierry Henry is his icon.
