Gonzalo Higuain and Ruud van Nistelrooy grabbed two goals to keep Real Madrid at the summit of La Liga this evening. The game looked to be heading for a draw, but two late goals wrapped up the three points for Real at the Bernebeu.

  • Van Nistelrooy slotted a low shot past keeper Stefano Sorrentino after Raul had clipped a neat pass into his path on the edge of the area 17 minutes from time.
