Liverpool eye move for Ryan Shawcross

Liverpool have been linked with a shock move for Stoke City defender Ryan Shawcross this morning. It is understood that Kenny Dalglish has told Tony Pulis that he would like to sign the England international.

However, Stoke want to keep their prized asset, and have told Liverpool they must make a substantial offer for the centre back.



Various reports this morning suggest that Liverpool have offered out of favour midfielder Christian Poulsen plus 10m GBP for the player.
