Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas has admitted that Juan Mata would be an excellent signing. The Valencia man has been linked with a 27m GBP move to Stamford Bridge.

Andre Villas-Boas has said of a potential move: ''He's a good player, a very good player. He's not our player but he's an interesting player. His curriculum speaks for itself. He's a player who scores and assists and he can add to any squad in the world.''



Chelsea are expected to wrap up a move for Mata within a few days.
