Arsenal have made another approach to Marseille for Argentinian international midfielder Lucho Gonzalez. Marseille rejected a one year loan deal from Arsenal last week.
According to reports, Marseille would only be interested in a permanent move for Lucho; and value him at around 7m GBP.
The Gunners are only willing to bring him in on loan due to club policy for players over the age of 30.
Interestingly, Arsenal have been drawn in the same group as Marseille in the Champions League.
Arsenal are expected to reopen talks with Marseille manager Didier Deschamps this weekend.
