West Ham striker Carlton Cole has revealed that an offer to move to Stoke City was accepted by his club; but he decided to stay put in London at the Hammers.
Tony Pulis is a big fan of Cole, and made an offer of 6m GBP for the 27 year old.
Cole said: âI know a fee got accepted. The position West Ham were in means Iâm one of the saleable assets and they had to accept.
âBut it was down to me and I didnât really want to move. It wasnât best for me and my family to go up North.
âIâll think about whatâs on offer but Iâm scoring goals and Iâm happy where I am.â
