Arsenal chasing Park Chu-young

Arsenal are expected to wrap up a move for Monaco and South Korea striker Park Chu-young on Monday; in a deal worth around 2.5m GBP. The Gunners have snatched the player from under the noses of Lille, who had already agreed a fee with Monaco.

According to reports, Park Chu-young was set to meet Lille to discuss personal terms; but Arsene Wenger called the South Korean's representatives on Thursday afternoon and Park Chu-young did not show up in Lille.



Instead, the South Korean flew to London to thrash out personal terms with Arsenal.



The player will undertake a medical examination on Monday morning.
