Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has sensationally hit out at Chelsea for their latest approach for Luka Modric, and admits that the Croatian is still unsettled at White Hart Lane.
Modric played in the 5-1 defeat to Man City at White Hart Lane; and the Croatian visited Harry Redknapp to say that he wasn't sure if he should play as he didn't feel comfortable.
âI played Luka today but his headâs not right again.
âHe came to see me at 12pm today, probably 11.30am, and he told me he didnât feel his head was right. I told him he needed to play. I had injuries in midfield, Tom Huddlestoneâs not fit and we needed him to play. Heâs our main man.â
âHis headâs been turned. Itâs probably been turned again last night. We all know what goes on in the game. Anyone who thinks heâs not being told whatâs going on is dreaming.
âSomething happened last night, I donât know what. He was OK to play yesterday (Saturday) morning and then all of a sudden he wasnât.
âChelsea⦠they can come and try to take your best players off you. I needed him to play. I think, at the moment, while he still sees a chink of light to go to Chelsea, heâs probably doing what heâs being told is the best idea to get to Chelsea.â"
