Man City waiting for Adam Johnson bids

29 August 2011 - 10:59

Manchester City are waiting for bids before the transfer window closes for left winger Adam Johnson. According to reports, Johnson has been told he can leave this summer by Roberto Mancini.

  • Chelsea make first move to sign Bournemouth star
  • Atletico Madrid planning shock move for Chelsea star
  • Despite impressive form at the end of last season by the England international, the left winger is unhappy that Samir Nasri has arrived and the former Boro man has slipped down the pecking order.

Man City are subsequently expecting offers; and Arsenal are believed to be one club interested in the player.

Johnson has reportedly told colleagues that playing regular first team football is more important to him than anything, and would leave Man City if he will not feature so often this year.
