Gallas says sorry to Arsenal

Gallas says sorry to Arsenal

10 October 2007 - 12:51

William Gallas has apologised to his club Arsenal for his attitude during his recent injury layoff. The France defender has been out since injuring his groin on August 19 during a Premiership game against Blackburn Rovers.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • The Arsenal defender said: "Sometimes I have been okay, but other times I have been very unhappy. Because of that I know it might have been difficult for the rest of the group because I wasn't always smiling when I was in the dressing room.

"I have experienced it before. The first week or so you can deal with it, but three, four, five weeks later? It's hard to keep smiling. So I want to say sorry to all the players and all the staff."
