Belgian news daily De Standaard claims that Real Madrid have their eyes on Lille starlet Eden Hazard.
Hazard has been one of Lille's best players and was pivotal in their 2010-11 league and cup double. His efforts led to him being voted the UNFP Ligue 1 Player of the Year, becoming the youngest player to win the award.
The 20-year-old is now looked upon as one of the hottest talents in Europe and was coveted by Arsenal, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.
Real Madrid director of football Zinedine Zidane claimed in an interview last year that the Belgian was one for the future.
âEden Hazard is a future expert,â âZizouâ told Marca. âHe is very good and will become even better.â
However, agreeing a deal may prove difficult, with Lille president Michel Seydoux holding out for a sum in the region of â¬35 million.
