Leicester tracking David Beckham

Leicester tracking David Beckham

06 October 2011 - 00:32

Leicester City manager Sven-Goran Eriksson hopes that he can tempt David Beckham to the club once the former England international's contract at LA Galaxy expires.

  • Chelsea have held talks for Ayyoub Bouaddi
  • Chelsea want Newcastle star to replace Cucurella?
  • Leicester have been monitoring Beckham's situation for several months, but will face huge competition for Beckham's signature, as Paris St. Germain are also keen on the midfielder.

"We will give him a whistle and he can go out [on the training pitch] straight away," Eriksson told The Times.

"I have already had that discussion with him. I spoke to him about Leicester.

"Beckham, he will never say no to me - he says, 'Sven, we'll see, we'll see'."
