Arsenal and Chelsea could compete for the signature of Monaco striker Paris Brunner during the winter transfer window, according to TeamTalk.
The 20-year-old has had a brilliant breakout season with the Ligue 1 outfit, and he has already netted eight goals in just nine appearances.
His progress has caught the eye of the Gunners and Blues and it is claimed that Monaco could be prepared to sell him for the right price in January.
The French club are going through a financial crisis and still need to recoup funds. They could do so with Brunner's exit at the start of next year.
Still, they would prefer to keep his services for the season and could give preference to clubs, who are prepared to loan him back to them.
Brunner has jumped ahead of Folarin Balogun in the pecking order at Monaco this term and has been key to their bright start to the season.
He is reportedly valued at around £30m.
