Blackburn's Kean remains confident

Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean denies being summoned to India for crunch talks with Rovers' owners Venky's, and instead insisted that the trip happens every month.

  • Kean revealed that at least once per month he will make the trip to India to discuss long term plans with the Rao family.



    Steve Kean has brought his team for a tour of India, where Rovers will largely be involved with commercial interests in India, but in addition will play a friendly game with Pune.



    Kean revealed: "We always have a sit down and a talk.



    "I think people will say I have been summoned. I have heard that on my last six or seven trips.



    "I come here once a month to sit down with the family and talk about all aspects of the club, the development of the youngsters, and what we want to do in the next transfer window."
