Real Madrid chief Zinedine Zidane has been tracking the progress of young Lyon defensive midfielder Maxime Gonalons, and could make a move for the 22 year old as soon as next summer.
Maxime Gonalons has impressed so far in the new season, and the 6 foot 2 midfielder has been linked with a move to Real Madrid as part of a 7m EUR package.
Zidane has reportedly instructed scouts to monitor the youngster in action, and according to reports from France there are a number of clubs interested in his services.
Gonalons is expected to land international honours in the next few months.
