Talksport claims that Arsenal are after Toulouse left-back Aymen Abdennour, who has impressed the Arsenal scouts with his steady performances.
The 22-year-old defender may be signed as soon as January after Abdennour moved to the French side from Etoile du Sahel in the summer.
Arsenal are currently weak in the left side of defence after losing Gael Clichy and Armand Traore in the recent transfer window. Kieran Gibbs has shown that he is injury prone and new signing Andre Santos has yet to gel in with the team.
Abdennour could provide more cover and help plug Arsenal's leaky defence.
