Real Madrid's Director of Sport, Zinedine Zidane has gone back to school to learn about sports management, thus indicating a desire to get into coaching at some point in his life.

  • 'Zizou' has registered for a two year diploma at the Centre of Law and Sports Finances in Limoges, France. Interestingly, this is the same university diploma that French national team coach Laurent Blanc possesses.

Zidane recently said that he would be tempted if approached by the French Football Federation to coach the national team.

"Whether I'd like to be coach of Les Bleus? Why not! That wouldn't be a bad thing. Everything's possible in life," Zidane was quoted as saying by Le Parisien.

Gerard Coudier, the joint chief of the university course expects Zidane to do well, telling The Sun: "Former players speak three languages fluently - they know what a player's contract is all about, they understand how agents and intermediaries work and they also know the limits.

"What characterises Zidane, a man completely successful in his life, is curiosity. He does not need to come here, it's not an imperative need.

"That shows that he comes here, curious and modest at the same time, because he wants to learn. It is a dream to teach someone like that."
