Anzhi turn attentions to Ashley Cole

According to <a href='http://www.transferleaks.com'>transferleaks.com</a>, Anzhi are weighing up a move for Chelsea defender Ashley Cole during the January transfer window in a deal worth a reported 14m GBP.

Ashley Cole will earn a reported 200,000 GBP per week should he accept the contract from the ambitious Russian side.



It's understood that Cole's representatives have been in discussion with the left back, as a director at Anzhi has apparently been in contact last week.



Anzhi currently have the best paid player in the world in Samuel Eto'o, who earns a reported 257,000 GBP per week.



The report stems from football agent site transferleaks.com, and suggests talks are <a href='http://transferleaks.com/2011/10/11/anzhi-desperate-to-sign-ashley-cole/'>already under way</a> for the left back.
