Tottenham are ready to make a bid for Seydou Doumbia. The Ivory Coast international striker would be allowed to leave CSKA Moscow for London for around 8.5m GBP.

Spurs have turned their attentions to Doumbia as Roman Pavlyuchenko could be part of a swap deal involved in a move with CSKA Moscow.



The highly rated 23 year old striker has enjoyed spells in Japan, Switzerland and Russia already, and his agent is now trying to negotiate a move to England for his client.



Doumbia should have no problem landing a work permit as he has appeared in just enough games for his country in the last 3 years.
