Fulham have been considering a move for German youngster Maximilian Beister, the winger who currently plays for Fortuna Dusseldorf on loan from HSV.
According to reports, Hamburg are preparing to sell the player for a cut price 1.22m GBP in the January transfer window.
Beister is very highly rated in Germany, and Martin Jol's scouts have been on hand to watch Beister several times in action over the past six months.
A move could be completed as soon as January.
