Malaga show interest in Hulk

Malaga show interest in Hulk

21 October 2011 - 16:16

Ambitious Spanish side Malaga are eager to bring Porto striker Hulk to La Rosaleda and are set to make Porto a huge offer to obtain his services.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • The Brazilian international has been in the spotlight in recent weeks and is being watched by a whole host of Europe's top sides.

After their 2010 takeover by Qatari billionaire Sheikh Abdullah Al Thani, Malaga have spent over €60 million in the last transfer window in a bid to challenge Barcelona and Real Madrid for supremacy.

It is reported that Malaga will make a €40 million bid to prise Hulk away from the Estadio do Dragao, although it is well short of the player's €100m release clause.

In an interview earlier this week, Hulk revealed that he was excited by the prospect of playing in Europe's top football leagues.

"The Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga and Serie A are where people really want to play, where the stadiums are always full," he said to Radio Bandeirantes

"If I had to leave for one of those leagues, I would leave happily."
