Man Utd to let Diouf join Cardiff

Man Utd to let Diouf join Cardiff

22 October 2011 - 22:33

Manchester United have agreed a deal with Cardiff City that will see Mame Biram Diouf head to Wales on loan for the rest of the season.

  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players
  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts

  • Diouf has grown increasingly frustrated with a lack of first team opportunities at Old Trafford, and is now heading for the exit door.

Diouf is now ready to depart as he is eager for first team action.

"It is not easy for me, but to be honest unless you are [Lionel] Messi or [Cristiano] Ronaldo you are not going to get in the attack of Manchester United," he told Sky Sports.

"Sometimes you have a winner of the Golden Ball [Owen] or last season's top scorer [Berbatov] not even on the bench, in the last game the striker substitutes were Rooney and Hernandez.

"I will keep on fighting and see, going on a loan to play regularly would benefit both parties."
