Tottenham scouting Ron-Robert Zieler

Tottenham have reportedly identified Ron-Robert Zieler as the long term goalkeeping replacement for Heurelho Gomes and Brad Friedel.

The Hannover 1996 goalkeeper has been in fantastic form already this year in the Bundesliga, and the 22 year old is widely regarded to be one of the best young keepers in Germany.



Formerly of Manchester United's youth team, the Red Devils decided to let Zieler return to his home country last year.



Now a move back to England could be in the reckoning as Spurs weigh up a move next summer for Zieler.
