Manchester City are apparently plotting an offer for Valencia wing-back Jeremy Mathieu after a series of good performances for his team.

The 28-year-old defender is apparently worth £10 million and has seen his performances been rewarded with a call up to the national team.



Mathieu can operate either at left back or on the left wing.



It is claimed that Valencia will be willing to sell if City meet the player's valuation.
