Arsenal considering move for Toure

Arsenal considering move for Toure

29 October 2011 - 01:04

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly interested in re-signing defender Kolo Toure from Manchester City.

  • Chelsea have held talks for Ayyoub Bouaddi
  • Chelsea want Newcastle star to replace Cucurella?
  • Toure was banned from football for six months after being caught using performance enhancing drugs. He has since come out and stated that he ate his wife's diet pills by mistake.

Toure has spent seven years at Arsenal before moving to Manchester City. With the form Kompanty and Lescott are in at the moment, opportunities for Toure will be few and far between.

Arsene Wenger is willing to take a risk in signing a player over 30 years old in an attempt to add depth to his injury-prone squad.
