Some French papers are reporting today that David Beckham is closing in on a bumper 1 year contract that will see him playing with French giants Paris St Germain.
Beckham's current contract at LA Galaxy is expiring shortly, and the former England captain has been in discussions with his advisors and PSG representatives over the past two weeks.
According to the reports, Beckham only has to agree the finer details of his contract and then the deal will be official. Beckham will earn as much as 170,000 GBP per week in France, and makes him Ligue 1's highest earner.
