Tottenham boss undergoes heart surgery

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has undergone heart surgery on Tuesday evening. Redknapp will miss out on the Europa League game with Rubin Kazan on Thursday evening.

  • Redknapp has undergone minor heart surgery after complaining of some pain in his chest on Tuesday night. Redknapp said: "I'm hoping I can be back at work again in a couple of days."<br />

    Redknapp is hoping to return to action for the Premier League game with Fulham this weekend. Assistant manager Kevin Bond will take charge for Spurs' game with Rubin in the Europa League on Thursday.
