Lampard wants new Chelsea deal

Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard wants to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge, and hopes that the club offer him a fresh new deal before next summer. Lampard is currently earning 150,000 GBP per week at the Bridge, and is prepared to take a pay cut to stay at Chelsea, according to reports.

  • Lampard said: "As it stands I have this season and next season and I would love to extend that. As long as the club want me, I will be here. Whatever anyone says about me going anywhere else, I will be here, without a doubt."


    The 33 year old has indicated that he wants to stay at Chelsea for the long term, and Roman Abramovich and Andre Villas-Boas have been in discussions regarding a new contract for the England international.
