Fulham eyeing shock Arsenal victory

26 November 2011 - 09:08

Fulham are hoping to surprise Arsenal during Saturday's Premier League match at the Emirates, and manager Martin Jol thinks that his side are capable of winning all 3 points.

  • Chelsea midfielder looking forward to London derby vs Spurs
  • Arsenal in the front row to sign Dutch striker

  • Arsenal are currently nine matches unbeaten, and Fulham travel to the Emirates knowing that the form of Robin van Persie is currently superior to that of Barcelona legend Lionel Messi, so the Cottagers will have to be at their very best defensively.

But Martin Jol thinks if his side play their game, they still can surprise many and beat the Gunners.

"The priority is to defend well but still play with confidence and belief," Jol said.

"I think we have done that in our last three or four away games. We have kept a clean sheet three times so we have some confidence of doing that.

"I think we are always capable of creating a few chances. Of course they have their strengths, but Arsenal also have their weaknesses like any other team."
