Ronaldinho eyes Flamengo stay

29 November 2011 - 06:48

Brazilian forward Ronaldinho does not want to return to Europe, and the talented forward is happy to stay with current club Flamengo for the time being.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Arsenal handed huge boost ahead of Bournemouth clash

  • Ronaldinho has occasionally shown flashes of his former self whilst playing for Flamengo. Since leaving AC Milan, Ronaldinho has been an important member of the first team for the Brazilian side. However, the club have been unable to pay the international striker for two months.

"I have not spoken to anyone about a potential transfer. He is very happy here where he can always visit his friends. He's still a big name in world football," Ronaldinho's brother told Lancenet.

"He's getting some good results here. He has made over 50 appearances and has scored 20 goals. He has even returned to the Selecao. He is very happy and wants to focus on his performances on the pitch."
