Blackburn manager Steve Kean remains quiet on his plans for the January transfer window. It is understood that Rovers' owners Venky's have told Kean that he has a transfer budget of approximately 15m GBP for new players.
Rovers have been linked with several players in January, but Kean wants to keep his cards close to his chest.<br />
Steve Kean said: “I wouldn’t like to speculate or comment on any names at this stage because it would be unfair to any player.<br />
“We’ll just do our business on the private side. There’s a few on the list and I’m sure that we’ll be linked to a number of players.<br />
“What I’d like to do is get a couple of bodies in and get them in early because we don’t want it to drag on until the tail end of the window.<br />
Confirming he now knew his budget, he said: “Yes, but I’ll be keeping that away from other clubs.<br />
“I’ve got a list, I’ll be speaking to the owners in the next three or four days, and we’re looking to bring in some fresh faces and some quality in the window.”
