Fulham closing in on Andre-Pierre Gignac

19 December 2011 - 11:47

Fulham look set to complete a loan move for French striker Andre-Pierre Gignac. The French forward has fallen out of favour with his current club Marseille, and a deal appears to have been struck with the Cottagers.

  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • Gignac will link up with his new team mates in early January, and as part of the deal Fulham have first option on a permanent deal for the striker.

The Frenchman has grown increasingly frustrated with the lack of first team opportunities on offer in Marseille, and has decided to move to the Premier League for the remainder of the season.

According to transferleaks.com, Gignac has also been in talks regarding a move to the UAE, but has decided to move to Fulham.
