Sunderland boss eyes Bobby Zamora move?

23 December 2011 - 18:21

Sunderland manager Martin O'Neill could make a surprise move for Fulham striker Bobby Zamora. The forward could be heading for the Cottagers' exit door after a report linked the England international with a big money move North.

  • Bobby Zamora has a hefty price tag of 8m GBP though, and Fulham manager Martin Jol has been locked in talks with the 30 year old striker regarding a new contract. It appears that Fulham will be asking for a big fee should any club decide to sign Zamora prior to the expiry of his contract.

Several other top sides are interested too, with ambitious QPR also considering a move for Zamora, whilst there also appears to be some surprise interest from Spain.
