Arsenal scouts monitoring Edin Visca

Arsenal scouts monitoring Edin Visca

23 December 2011 - 18:58

Arsenal have instructed club scouts to closely monitor the progress of Istanbul BB winger Edin Visca. The Bosnian only recently completed a move to Turkey last summer, but the Gunners are very impressed and Arsene Wenger's network of scouts are preparing reports on his progress.

 • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
 • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
 • It is believed that Arsene Wenger is a huge fan of Visca, but did not make a move for the player last summer due to work permit complications.
Visca has only recently received his first cap for the Bosnian national team, and so is some way off of acquiring the minimum of 14 caps for his national team to receive a work permit for the Premier League.
Arsenal have, in the past, signed players such as Ryo Miyaichi and applied for "special talent" work permits; but in the case of Visca it is understood that Arsenal will wait until next summer before completing a move.
