Joe Cole keen on permanent Lille stay

02 January 2012 - 06:19

Lille's on loan midfielder Joe Cole has admitted that he would like to make his temporary stay at the Ligue 1 champions permanent. Liverpool are willing to listen to any offers for the attacking midfielder.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • Cole has so far been impressive since arriving in France, scoring three goals in fifteen games for Lille. A permanent move for the player could now happen next summer, for a fee in the region of 4.5m GBP.<br />

<span>"I'm really happy at Lille," Cole said. "If things continue like this, it would make sense for me to stay. I've started well here and I'm going to keep getting better and better."</span>
