Joe Cole keen on permanent Lille stay
Lille's on loan midfielder Joe Cole has admitted that he would like to make his temporary stay at the Ligue 1 champions permanent. Liverpool are willing to listen to any offers for the attacking midfielder.
Cole has so far been impressive since arriving in France, scoring three goals in fifteen games for Lille. A permanent move for the player could now happen next summer, for a fee in the region of 4.5m GBP.
"I'm really happy at Lille," Cole said. "If things continue like this, it would make sense for me to stay. I've started well here and I'm going to keep getting better and better."
