Bolton have been linked with a move for 25 year old striker Mamadou Samassa, the 3m GBP rated striker could join the Trotters in the January transfer window but is expected to quit current club Valenciennes this summer.
The Mali international has been tracked by a number of other French teams too, including the likes of Rennes and Bordeaux. However, a move to England seems to appeal more to the former Marseille man.
Bolton manager Owen Coyle has been alerted to the player from one of his scouts, whilst the player himself has also entrusted his agent to find him a bigger club as soon as possible.
