Arsenal lead race for Adam Maher's signature

Arsenal are tracking the progress of AZ Alkmaar starlet Adam Maher. The Dutch midfielder has been monitored by Gunners' scouts, and sent back glowing reports to Arsene Wenger and chief scout Steve Rowley.

According to reports emanating from Holland, the 18 year old has been watched in action by Arsenal club representatives. The Gunners will also have to do battle with several other Premier League clubs if they are to complete a move for Maher, as title rivals Manchester City are also interested.



AZ value the midfielder at around 3.2m GBP.
