Manchester United are reportedly planning a Russian raid on CSKA Moscow, with a 20m GBP signing of 21 year old midfielder Alan Dzagoev. The talented creative midfielder is considered the finest Russian footballer of his generation.

According to Caught Offside, Man Utd are confident that they will secure the signature of Dzagoev, who is pining for a move to the Premier League at the recommendation of international team mate Andrei Arshavin.<br />

The 21 year old has been with CSKA since 2008, and famously scored an important goal against United in the Champions League in 2009; that game finishing 3-3.<br />

The midfielder is very highly rated by a number of European teams, including Real Madrid and Chelsea, but Man Utd will be the first to make an official offer for the player.
